well its been bloody hard work once again down gym.. let the diet slip when i my sister gave birth and i became an uncle for the first time (which is totally understandable...)
So im still cracking on with rowing and cycling to loose the fat and a split weights program for upper and lower body.
weighed myself just now on same scales, wearing same things to try and get some consistency with the weigh ins..
18st 5lbs
not lost as much as last week which i kinda expected since i had a hickup with booze and bad food over weekend.. plus im doing weights and trying to build muscle (which weights lots more than fat)
but that does mean that all the hard work im putting in isnt going unnoticed.
have lost 1stone in 2 weeks !!!
NOT BAD

you should aim to weigh youself same time every week..dont forget your weight may vary with how much water is in you too..

Mate losing one stone in two weeks is very good, and yea you should notice that the results will slow down (as previously mentioned before) due to most of what you have loss is excess water...
Are you taking any supplements at all to speed up the weight loss?
I am going to try some of this within the next couple of weeks....
Clicky

If your losing weight without suppliments keep it up without!!
No point introducing something when you are already achieving your goals. Wait until you plateu.
Good effort though 1 stone in 2 weeks is good work!

Are you doing a photo blog to see the difference in your appearance?
I'd like to see some pics of your build.
I assume you're quite a tall guy...

Hey Steve which Gym are you going to?
I usually go to Windsor Gym, but it's a fair old trek through slough.
I want to go to the gym often at the mo, but I just need one a bit more local.

Everyone has a 6pack, just need a low enough bodyfat to show it.
Doesn't matter how big a frame and good genetics you have, you won't be "packing on lean muscle" as much as you think, a normal guy with good genetics is usually looking at around 14-15lbs of lean muscle in a YEAR with a good diet and weights program and thats natural.
So like i said, lean muscle won't be "packing" on at the rate you think it does, plus you can't really lose the fat and gain alot of muscle at the same time, its one or the other. Focus on bodyfat reduction first and then looking at bulking to get some muscle
Your still doing good though, keep at it
I'm not being a cunt by posting this and "putting" you down, i can tell your a sensible lad and i just want you to know the facts so your not let down at the end of it, just realise your main goal is fat loss at the moment (note the word fat not weight)
Any added muscle is a bonus.

oh no i know what your on about...
for someone of my build (big frame but sadly let myself go a wee bit) its all about the fat loss first. then can work on building muscle
its only when you start all this with such focus that you realise how much work these "cover models" put in to look that good
