Hi all,

I got told the other day off my driving instructor that Corsa's are the dearest car for young people to insure?! I can't say i beleve him, but what do you people think?!

Is it true? And if so, Why?

all the small car's are a lot to insure in my experience (106, saxo, corsa) due to being a first time buyers most popular choice.

reason is because lots of young drivers by them who just want to get on the road and lots have the inevitable crash.

I'd imagine it costs more for a young person to insure a Gallardo to be honest, your instructor is lying to you.

Corsa's are generally cheaper than the main small cars.

106/saxo's are more because of being made out of tin cans
Fiesta's are more cos of being a grp 6 for the 1.25 zetec!

Corsa 1.0 12v is a grp1 car

corsa 1.2 8v 1993 model would be really cheap to insure imo, insurance group 2

Many factors they will change the price of insurance.

For me its cheaper to insure a saxo vts then it is to insure a coars sport 1.4
