all the small car's are a lot to insure in my experience (106, saxo, corsa) due to being a first time buyers most popular choice.
reason is because lots of young drivers by them who just want to get on the road and lots have the inevitable crash.

I'd imagine it costs more for a young person to insure a Gallardo to be honest, your instructor is lying to you.
He's probably porking your mum too.

Corsa's are generally cheaper than the main small cars.
106/saxo's are more because of being made out of tin cans
Fiesta's are more cos of being a grp 6 for the 1.25 zetec!
Corsa 1.0 12v is a grp1 car

but the corsa 1.0 12vs are newer, than 1993 cars, i remeber when i was first looking for a car a 1.0 12v corsa was more to insure than the 1.2 8v ls

They cost too much to run over here. The amount you have to spend on a lass' drinks here in one night you'd get an English girl for two weeks.
