My old corsa is up for sale, very tempted to buy it back! Although I now have a clio 182, some would ask why would I ever want a 1.4 corsa sport? But it was just such a fun car, and I built it pretty much from scratch, and there was still things I wanted to do to it at the time when I sold it.

Anyone else felt like buying theirs back?

Nope, I don't see the point?

You obviously sell your car because you want to move on and get something quicker, so why buy your old car back?

Sort of like 'been there, done that' kind of thing.

I was so tempted to buy my old GSI XE back when it popped up on ebay a few months back.

Then i read the listing and realised it still had every fault i sold him it with (he had it a year) so i changed my mind.

That's pretty short sighted imo.

i sold my XE gsi because i needed to release funds for solicitors fees when moving house. there was nothing wrong with it, and i took a backwards motoring step to benefit elsewhere in my life.

If mine came up again at teh right price, i'd buy it in a heartbeat.

what about owning a car for nearly 10 years with some "other" bird, then split up with her and get with a new one, new bird doesnt like that fact that your car reminds her of your Ex and like a fool you agree to sell it after finding another Project car?

had a mate do that very thing, sold his Nova 2ltr 8v to a scottish bloke, it has recently come back to the surface being used as a time trial car. after some digging found who owns it but its really a shadow of the car it used to be!

for this reason i'd drive my cars till they cant be fixed and scrap them!

I would imagine its like getting back with an ex girlfriend to give it another go - but the memory of how it was is much nicer than the reality the 2nd time round!
