cant find the orginal thread
but
QUOTE=Dec.;3722886]Hi Mark, Yes the parcel arrived yesterday, lovely vinyl stripes and an off-cut to make some flashes... here are a few pics (u have PM too)

They really set the bumper off
I also fitted the anti-roll bar today:

However (just when things were going so well!) we were tuning the carbs thisafternoon, it was running great. Then. it conked out, we thought it had ran out of fuel, so I popped up to the garage and got another gallon. Filled it up, it wouldn't start?!?!? We then seen that there was no spark at any of the leads, or the coil? We took some readings and there appears to be voltage before and after the coil. Dad suspects it's a faulty coil, idle control module, or distributer amplifier. Electrics aren't my thing and I really don't need this so close to Billing
Arrrrgh!!!!

[QUOTE=Dec.;3725487]Oh go on then, if you insist...
Framptons couldn't use the older font if I wanted the dealer details and logo's at the bottom of the plate, what they did do however was strech the later font to make them appear old. The only give away is the style of the number 5...

[QUOTE=Dec.;3728835]Well.... I'm still hung over, but managed to fit one side of the decals today.
Dad done was working on the car until 9pm yesterday, done the tracking, sorted a slight problem with the exhaust and got the horn working
The Sport stickers are a bit of a nightmare to fit IMO. I phoned Mark earlier who gave me some very useful and welcome tips. Biggest one of all to use plenty of warm soapy water and a heat gun once they are in position.
Here are a couple of pics

Hope to get the other side finished off soon and get the car MOT'd in the week.

I think it'll be the ignition module that sits under the coil why it doesn't run, common problem

It's meant to be red, they were red from the factory as rumour has it they ran out of paint for them so they popped nextdoor and borrowed some red paint from a london bus factory (or something along those lines) and done the backboxes red
I have Jr-itius today

the cars where down at southampton ? dock left in plain white, the 2 guys that went down there were given a load of vinyal, and just told to use it on one of the cars untill they came up with something that looked "right", which took a few attempts

I had also heardthat but doubted it personally.
I know they all came across in plain base white.
They also left the dealerships from brand new with the carbs in a cardboard box in the boot for the new owner to fit at home (some did but most paid to have the fitted at the dealership)
Also in the offical brochure they were said to have "ventilated brake discs" but never did.
