well i kinda let myself go lately and im not happy.. so im doing a 12 week program starting monday.

Goal is to loose as much fat as possible and gain some lean muscle. Will be doing this all natural so there will be no supplements or anything. Just good eating and healthy lifestyle

weighed myself this morning and im 19st 6lbs (with shoes,trousers,shirt) which is 124kgs

My goal weight is 17st.......... Im probably not going to loose 2.6st within 3 months, cos thats not a healthy amount to loose so quickly.

Yes for some sick reason i am going to post update pics every 2-3weeks

just going to be hard to cut out all crisps, choccy, cakes, BOOZE, fizzy drinks.

i also want to do this, am not overweight but have a little beer belly that i dont like.

i reckon you will lose half of that pretty easily. the other half may be a bit tricky. when you say "healthy lifestyle" do you mean you're gonna go to the gym?

http://www.lighterlife.com/lighterlife_bmi_calculator.cgi is a good one to see if you over weight etc, but bare in mind if you have a big frame ie muscle its not always accurate, as i weigh 13.5 stone and am approx 5'8 i do have a little pot belly but nothing majr that cant be taken care of.

the problem i have is trying to gain muscle. Im pretty skinny but i just cant get that toned muscle look

I got to a point a few months back where i was fed up with my weight.

About 15 1/2 stone at just over 6ft.

Im now down to a very consistent 14 stone dead. I did it by cutting out the crap i eat during the day and sticking to mostly fruit throughout the day and a decent meal....everynow and then i have a pig out but the fruit during the week sorts me back out again.

TBH - at 19stone you could easily lose a stone or two in a couple of months....as the initial puppy fat always seems to drop off quickly.

I've hit a wall at about 13st 12lb - i cant seem to get under it and stay there.

I need to up my exercise i think...if i can fit it in around all the indoor football!!!

You need to bulk up slightly, you dont need to go crazy, just eat foods that contain slightly more calories and work yourself a training program. You will be building muscle from the extra calories contained in your meals. Plenty of place on the net to help you out. Maybe try a protein shake?

that is true, different metabolisms effect different people. I used to eat and eat an not put a single bit of weight on, now its like i cant eat a burger with out a ripple appearing on my ass! lol

i've got down to 12st 8lb and i'm struggling to lose any more. its the last 1/2st that is a fucker to lose.

Immediately post workout I'd go for some high GI carbs to refill glycogen stores and a protein shake.

To be honest though, what you eat post workout is only a tiny part of the bigger picture. You need a good, consistant diet with calories which exceed your maintainance amount to gain muscle. Not to forget the most important part; training HARD several days per week.

thats good plenty of protein in eggs but its not very bulky. Tuna, grilled steak/chicken is a great source of protein

I find swimming, running helps alot as it gets you out and you no that its working towards a goal. Running tredmill, cross trainers ect i find i get bored to easily. Sports is a great way to lose weight

i tend to work out 5 times a week. All of them start with a 15- 20 min cardio and then i usually go onto weights. I know alot of people say i should only really do 3 sessions of weights but i have noticed a difference and my body seems to cope fine with it.

You maybe training to hard and burning all of what you eat before your even building muscle. Try only doing 3 days a week, you will soon notice a difference, as long as you dont work urself into the ground you will tone and build muscle accordingly.

You can't just target specific parts for 'toning' really mate. In fact I hate the word toning lol.

To tone up your chest and lose the belly you'll just have to lose bodyfat. Simple as that. You can't target and spot reduce a specific area. The weight you lose is taken from all over your body (Usually, on most, it's the belly that is the last to go though. It's a stubborn area )
