Had a JCW Mini about a while back but after becoming a dad I got myself a new S40 Volvo SE which was safe, comfy, reliable but a little bit boring. About 2 months ago I bought the missus a mint Cooper S in grey with every single extra you can have (sat nav, panoramic roof, full heated leather, gas lights etc) and after driving it I got the bug again so decided to get another. Ive already got the Tuscan for weekends and the works Astra Estate for big shopping trips so the Mini will do as a day to day car thats a bit more fun!
Anyway, I think I might have a bit of a play with this one. The wheels have a few scuffs on them so Ive ordered some GP replicas as well as a carbon bonnet scoop and black grill but I think that will be it as its already 210bhp and I think the gearboxes are a bit suspect on these cars to run anymore power!

Yeah and I wish I was still as young as most of you guys!!!!
The TVR will be going soon but I just cant make my mind up on what to replace it with. Although buying the missus that Cooper S has taken a chunk of cash so its between the Ultima or the Noble now I think.

I have driven both an ultima and a Noble m12. I would have the M12 any day.
also, noble is easy to mod. I am building one at present using a 3" mandrel bent system, competition spec boxes, m400 manifolds and all ceramic coated (inside and out) two t30 turbos and a remap (they have standalone as standard) hoping for 500+ bhp which should be easily achievable. That is the limit on the gearboxes though

They all do as far as I know, early ones are 2.5's and late ones are 3.0's.
Tough decesion really, both have pro's and con's! We shall see I guess!!
But yeah, lets hope this JCW doesnt get molested like the last one eh?

I like the Noble, as I think it looks better, but the Ultima is an animal.
In fact, I change my mind. A Noble. By the way Stu, there is a Noble dealer in Northwich called Christopher Neils. May worth a pop down.

I've not been in an ultima but i've heard one drive by me, i'd have that on account of it sounding like it'll eat the earth up.
