The girls get 52p a day for sewing sequences on to 3 tops

Primark deny they employ child labour, even though they've filmed children making their clothes!

Nike denied having Indians make their clothes a while back.

Ended up being a "white lie"

Its not any of the suppliers fault. Main suppliers emply subsuppliers that employ children without the companies permission.

If primark didn't employ them, someone else would. At least the children have got jobs and can afford to eat.

52p is probably still a quite a lot over there. (well, not quite a lot, but not as bad as it sounds).

Exactly.

All these do-gooders go over there an try shock us into thinking its really bad that these kids work for a low amount. What they fail to realise is that without the work, the kids would most likley die due to having no money for food or shelter.

I've never seen any chavs in Primark. Quite the opposite tbh.

I've got loads of stuff from there. They are great for plain t-shirts and vests. Also got a coat from there, £9 It's my favourite piece of clothing too, and that includes my £180 leather jacket.

Its not Primark who employ the kids, its the sub suppliers that do it.

TBH the kids looked quite happy to do the work

I wonder how many people actually stop buying primark now because of that program,i dont anyone would care aslong as they get cheap clothes.

I get some stuff from there and ive never seen chavs in there, chavs tend to be in sports soccer than primark.

And mayve giving thosse children work is the making of them,my grandfather was down the mine when he was 10 and he loved it tbh working along side his father.

thats whats probably wrong with the country today,i guess if kids worked it would be a lot less crime.
