iv just been told they are not making the goodyear eagle f1 tyres anymore and that there making forumla f1's or something, is this true?

What Kurt said... they are Goodyear Eagle F1 Asemmetricos

Best on the market for overall VFM accoring to most tests this years

Are the Asymetric ones the replacement?

I do prefer directional tyres and run the Eagle F1 GS-D3 usually.

im a tyre fitter at kwik fit and we specialise in the f1's,havnt heard nothing about the above subject to be fare

Sames work for Mcconnechys and head nothing about them getting rid of the normal F1s seen a couple sets of Asemmetricos come in!

they guys got back to me and he can get them, must have told me off the top of his head then foiund out the truth, iv been offered toyo's t1r's for 45 a wheel fitted and the eagle f1's for 57 a tyre fitted what should i go for?

I wrecked a pair of toyos in 4k in my 1.2 once

I would pay the extra for the Eagle F1's. I used to swear by the Toyo tyres but never looked back after I changed

Ive had toyos and they do wear very quickly. Paradas have a good grip but didnt last......

If your a bit careful, I don't see why you wouldn't get 10-12k out of a set of F1's. It's up to you mate, it's your cash. I know what i'd buy though.
