Love scoobies but not a fan of this one, maybe if it had tints and a nicer set of bumpers

Ditto Marc! Think if i decide to do a renovation in the future it will be a S2 RST.
Like Wrighty says it's a minefield buying a scooby

ind kit, exhaust and a boost controller will see you to 280bhp sti power mate
just offering my advice, because these cars are a whole different ball game and i know for a fact, 95k on a subaru engines asking for trouble, 10k in reciepts or not

Give it a good run Go somewhere and thrash the tits off it to make sure it goes well etc and if he is in the car during the test drive he might be making sure you dont drive it hard and therefor it may hide problems with the engine that he doesnt want you to find

Also put it in 5th at a low speed and test the clutch.Gearbox's are a bit weak so it might 'snatch' a bit going into 2nd wether going up or down the box.
Reverse it at a bit of a speed and make sure it dosn't whine too much.As Scotty says it needs to be thrashed to make sure there isn't any boost issues etc.If he objects to any of this then walk away.
