Hey guys, so this morning i got up nice and early (7am) and headed off to meet my friend in his type R and the rest of the group going there, it was a ford day and covered by fast ford, but my friend with an RS2000 invited us along. So there turned out to be about 7 - 8 escort's, an ST2000, 106 gti, Type R and my clio 182.

It was a great day and for 50 pounds i havent had so much fun ever i dont think ? I took hardly any pictures unfortunatly as i was having so much fun which the video's show

Killed an Eagle F1 and my mate in his Type R killed a few cones

Also realised how much i need to uprate my brakes even though you hardly use them on a flying lap.

I'd just like to add we ended up doing timed runs and getting competitive a few of us.. Here are the times from the strating hut and round to the finish line.

106 Gti - 40.0 seconds
Clio 182 - 38.6 seconds
Civic Type R - 38.9 seconds
Escort RS2000 4x4 - 40.0 seconds

There was also an evo who manager a high 35 but we wont include him

The video ive tried my best to put together and it was all filmed on my N95 so im suprised at the quality, anyway let me know what you think, See you at FCS if your there

And few picture's from the starting line

Olly Hewitt's 2.0 16v nova did a PB of 35.92 on Sunday, his car is capable of 34's though easily.
It's an ideal circuit for small light FWD cars, when I ran my old 1.3 nova there many years back I was lapping faster than a SWB quattro. Only cars that were faster was a Megabusa Westfield and KAD 16v mini (£40k build and all carbon fibre )

My 38.6 will do me then also, how is he going to shave 2 seconds off his time ? cause that's alot.

His driving style is very aggressive, with some smoother lines and actually using the brakes he could definately go a lot faster. The 35.92 was set when he was very new to his current suspension set up, as you can see by his interesting 2-wheel action at the molehill Plus 34's is only .93 of a second quicker

Crazy two-wheeled action!
