english is purely english iirc and british includes everyone ie scottish, welsh

tis a bit daft really. we all have our individual national days but our nationality is the same. my passport is british so i always write that on official forms. anything less important and i put english.

I agree with the above sentiment, I'm Scottish, there is nowhere I class myself as British apart from the forms where that is the only option
