Worst topic heading ev4r.. etc.
How do you cope when your BF or GF moves far away wether its work/Uni/other and you see them < once a month and hardly hear from them? What arrangements do you have to see them?
Has anyone had to end a relationship (or even a friendship) due to this?
Was it mutaul or was there some sleeping around involved? (Road Trip)
My head feels like a sack of spanners at the moment, GF is going to uni in September and if I don't get my insecurities/paranioa out of the way its going to end sooner rather than later
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Too much of a "free love, fuck anything with a pulse mentality". Even if she's devoted to you, there's too much temptation.
Sorry to say it Pete, but it happened to me. I hope I'm wrong and it doesn't happen to you.

I know Ash.
Also, she has a lot of college friends, a few really close friends, her family and me. She simply cannot keep close to ALL them at uni so I KNOW some people are going to get hurt and the way things are at the moment I'm going to be one of them :'(

not really the mentality to have though. if she wants to go to a uni miles and miles away its her decition. maybe you should think now about your options. be months and months of only seeing her briefly or think about ending it now before anyone gets hurt. as you'll be spending more time with your mates and you'll both have more temptation.,

Or, like the t-shirt the ex I'm referring to bought, "If you love something, let it go free, if it comes back it's forever, if not, who gives a FCUK."
I took it as a hint. Ta rah.

fuck me!
Im sure it will be fine mate, all depends on what kinda girl she is.
My girlfriend goes to uni round here, and lives at home, but im going to oxford next year, so it will be the same kinda
But she doesnt really like going out, getting pissed, she is shy, doesnt talk to lads etc etc, so i am really not worried at all!
Where as if she went out all the time, getting pissed etc, i would be worried!

Also, is there a reason why she is going all that distance away?
I.e isnt there a uni closer that does the same course? Have you checked?

my girlfriend lives in scotland, i live in essex.
i fly up there every couple months and she flys down here every so often.
it is difficult but it's so amazing when we see eachother ( ) that i wouldn't change her for the world.
just gotta stick with it until you can be together. only another 7 months wait for me
and to add, i've cheated on her because i gave in to temptation worse thing ever. she hasn't cheated on me, even though i've interrogated her loads of times

Teetotal girls are less of a worry. But students are actively encouraged to get plastered and wake up with a random or two.
I'd never touch a girl who admitted having a bf after knowing what it's like to be the guy miles away worrying. Plus if she's willing to cheat on him with you, how can you trust her?
Ahhh, early morning relationship discussions. Gotta love em.

I can't see her right now as shes doing college work since how deadlines were brought forward.
But I'd like to spend ever hour with her if it was possible, maybe she has other ideas.

Pete, just carry on, make a shotof it, but be prepared for the worst. That way, when it doesn't happen, you'll be all the more happy.
What's the deal with you two? Both had a fair bit of experience or otherwise? A common reason for a break up is wanting to see other people whilst the chance is there, not be with just one person.

5 sexual partners each, this is the strongest relationship either of us has had.
I dont' want it to end, but I don't want to hold her back.

Just relax then, you've a good chance of working through it. Probably gone past the sexual novelty stage
