Anyone know of any decent places to look? I dont want anything as minging at teh GTR vent, but obv to get the best benefit it should be in the middle of the bonnet so the cold air goes straight to the tb's. Or would I be best off trying to run a cold air feed from the front bumper and route it round? Any suggestions?

Seen one in the projects section - someone modified the scuttle and made a air deflector sort of thing to direct air at the tb's iirc

Problem with a scoop like that is, it doesnt matter what's under the bonnet, people will think you're a goon

That scoop MAY look ok if it was a little smaller and is painted perfectly the same colour so it blends in and the rest of the car is standard or tasteful....it could work

One that cuts into the bonnet on the drivers side would be good.

i was looking at something pro-tec offer..
its a modified slam pannel with a carbon scoop under the bonnet that feeds an airbox for the throttle bodies, not cheap but then you dont have a scoop that may look poop..
http://www.pro-tecmotorsport.com/partsDetails.cfm?id=41
failing that, imo a scooby scoop would be best, i could give a feck what people think, its there for a reason

Like this, maybe a little larger and further up the bonnet and with a feed coming off it?

Maybe I could ask the guy in the bodyshop to just custom make one. It cant be that hard to cut a hole in the bonnet, weld a few bits of metal underneath then make it look nice?
