Mine seems OK most of the day but at about 4:30 it erupts into a torrent of snot

Wasn't too bad at PVS though, must have been to do with the 4 hayfever tablets I took that morning

I had man flu last week. managed to get rid of it saturday only get the next 3 days of bad hayfever

Benadrill seems to calm it slightly, but I still have to blow my nose every 30 seconds

Anyone have any good remedies?

*edit* Lawrah, try nytol for a good nights sleep, 1 tablet will knock you out

I think local honey actually contains pollen i think, which counter-acts it. ive heard that before.

Dunno how you're supposed to take it, some on toast would probably do.

I'm going to try it if I can find some, it's probably cheaper than a packet of hatyfever tablets a week

acupuncture doesnt hurt if done properly, if done by student, fcking hurts! IMO, acupunture works same was as a placebo, if you believe it'll work, it will, if you dont, it wont

Nah you can still have it, but the docs wont do it as common as they used to.

Ive have it once and it did NOTHING for me, got it just as bad as I always do, but its meant to work for some. Just got the docs and tell them you've tried everything and want the injection. Although you are probably too late now, as meant to have it before the season starts.

Yer I think it works on the same system as the honey by introducing something simular to pollen so your body gets used to it and doesnt react against it.

If you only get stinging eyes then you are lucky

I get stinging eyes which are only made worse if you rub them - which is Gods version of a joke as you cant not rub them. I get a runny nose for a constant 2-3months - which defies a laws of common sense as I dont have enough room in me to store that much snot so should look like a prune by the end of it all. And worse of all, normally later on at night 12-3am, I struggle to breath and have whats similar to an asthma attack - so now need to look like a flid with an inhailer

i'm like you cosmo. I've had it bad for a few days now. My eyes are sore and massive. I can't breathe. I'm sneezing every minute, and i can't help but rub my eye as it feels nice doing so. I can't win. My nose is the size of michael jacksons as i've sniffed so much of the spray shit. My eyes are constantly filled with eye drops. To be honest think i get it really bad! I can't even put my window down on car!
