I watched scrapheap challenge on the weekend and at the end they put up the web site where they where asking for teams to apply.
SO being bored on a sunday afternoon i decided that i would fill in the forms not expecting to get anywhere 
As alot of groups of mates have, we had already spoken about this in the past as a laught and spoke about who are team would be.
So i fills out the forms which asked loads of questions about who we are, what we can do etc etc took about 2 hours, thinking about what to put then clicks on send.
I had forgot all about it as it said it could be upto 2 months before we would hear anything until Thurday i gets a phone call from the people at scrapheap challenge saying where we very interested in having are team on the show an where we still interested in entering a team; abit of a silly question
So filled out the last of the forms which they have emailed me just personal details which look like there for insurace forms and when we are available for filming.
So fingers crossed looking like we are on 
To say i am chuffed is a understatment

Pete on the Left who has been a mechanic for 7 years (also my buisness partner) but before he was an electronic expert. so all wiring side is sorted.
Steve bloke in the middle who is the team captain runs one of north west biggest scrap yards so has alot of knowledge which is very handy he is also an ex-mechanic and also a ex-hydraulic machine maker.
So i think between us we have most things covered

I think the filming is for winter show or early 2009.
They have sent us filming dates for between july 3rd and oct 17th.

You have to hand it to the guys who do feature on the program, some of the stuff they come up with in terms of ideas and then actually fabricating the ideas is simply jaw dropping.
