Hi All,

SRi Lee from CC|UK asked me to take a look at his 1.8 Turbo'd C ahead of this PVS this weekend.

The car had a hard life before he brought it by being constantly washed using car washes so was swirled to buggery and the roof and bonnet had started to go trade mark "Flame Pink"

So today I set about paint correction and a general tidy up for him...

The Befores:

I won't bore you with all the processes unless anybody asks, but wash stages took around 2.5 hours, machine polishing around 4 hours and then the final touches for the remainder of the time lol.

Al taped up:

Lee strangely liked it like this?!!

And finally the afters:

It wasn't perfect - the car washes had caused a lot of deeper marks that are dam hard to get rid of - a solid day of just machine polishing would just about do the trick in general. At least the colour was restored and the paint made a lot better than it was before - just in time for it to sit proudly on the Regal stand lol.

Thanks for looking

black and red is the best colour combination, end of.

How much do you charge? My roof looked exactly like that, I've got it back to a more 'red' colour, but not perfect. Looks like a good job for a day

Yeh was Waynes - No idea how much anybody paid. All Lee said was that he picked it up for a good price that swayed him from going Jap

Deano - That cost £118 inc. travelling costs. He had 10% discount for being on CC|UK. Prices are so bloody low simply because I'm a new company trying to build up some clients - All the products, tools & techniques etc that I use are as good as the stuff people charge twice as much for
