Fire is always the way forward.
I once set a tree in my mums garden on fire as it had a wasps nest in it - told her it was a necessary casualty in my war with them

bit OTT but funny.
When we 1st moved in we had a swarm of bees in our garden.
We just got a jar of honey and my dad mixed it with something.
Left it in the garden and a few hours later they were all dead.

Why would bee's go to honey?
