We stayed in a nice place in Glencoe a couple months back, cant remember the name now.....if you want I'll look. Double room with buffet breakfast (AMAZING!) & use of pool, tub, sauna etc, recommend it

Do it in this order...

Glasgow
Loch Lomond
Fort William
Fort Augustus
Inverness
Keith
Aviemore
Pitlochry
Perth
Edinburgh

The roads are BRILLIANT. Heres a few snaps from my trip to Glencoe a few weekens ago...

Yep car parking was spot on, it sits in front of a town called Ballachulish, decent area its full of walkers & tourists, not a chav in sight - nothing to worry about there!!

You have to go to Millport.

I went for the first time in March and its so scary how quiet a clean the place is.

Nothing to do atall and you'll get bored within half an hour but its a cheap ferry over, £5.60 or so and its a lovely wee place.

this is what we thought:

Leeds - Edinburgh = 220miles
Edinburgh - Loch Lomand = 70
Loch Lomond - Oban = 95
Oban - Fort William = 45
Fort William - Perth = 100
Perth - Leeds = 275

800 miles

£150 for milage.

if you want 10 miles of pure thrashing round an island then the place i would reccommend is the Cumbrae, town is called Millport on it.

You can go from Glasgow down the coast road to Largs, across there on the ferry then back and up to Loch Lomond.
Then Fort William and following onto Inverness and then up to Avimore.

Then anywhere u want down to Edinburgh and stop off in place like Berwick on the way back.
