Doesnt looklike a scam to me he has 100% good feedback and hes sold other cars with his feedback coming back good?

Maybe hes just pissed off having people bid and back out the last minute.

Probably should just ask for a deposit though i guess.

Still doubt its a scam.

if you pay? whats to stop me going up and stealing it?

cash on collection is a must tbh with a car.

just sounds a bit dodgy i always find, id never bid on a car. deposit of £100 within 2 days yes but full amount never.

webuyanycar.com - M764XER - BLUE VAUXHALL CORSA HATCHBACK 1.6 GSi 3dr (1993 - 1995 Model) Manual 1598cc

DVLA also have it as a Blue Vauxhall 1598cc.

Reg is OK I would say. No idea quite why you would ask for Paypal and pay fees for cash on collection. Perhaps because people keep turning up and not buying it. Which would indicate to me that the engine needing TLC means it's more serious when you get there (edit - questions indicate it may be smokey)

Might buy it put the lip on mine but I'm turning up with cash despite what he says.

Read the questions - there is oil in the bores which will normally mean it won't pass emissions.

I agree, i think hes sold it before and people have turned up and its worse than hes listed so walked away or offered alot less.
Pay beforehand by paypal and all hes got to do is give you the keys, no hassle

I wouldnt do it though

Seller replied to my request to disclose the reserve very quickly but has neglected to answer the one about trying to MOT it but it failing on emissions, which is my suspicion.

It's too nice to strip so I don't want it, but it's a cheap car if you can trailer and fix the engine issues. A swap would cure it. I'm guessing its an X16 on account of the inlet being chromed, shouldn't be too hard to find a suitable donor engine.
