http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/shropshire/7406951.stm

19 year old driver and two of his passengers, 18 and 24 were killed.

Sad story and I especially hope it's no one we know.

finally, a news article about young people involved in a car accident which doesn't mention speeding blasphemy

sad story but it will be just as bad for the people in the citroen who didn't die, thinking whether they could've done something to prevent it etc.

Was a crash up near me last year involving a lad with 2 girls in a corsa, he hit a civic head on and killed 5 people and he escaped with serious burns, i go past the crash site often as its on the main route to perth from my house.

My mates where killed in a really bad car crash in swansea, it was like this in the news a whole day then all forgotton about.

They need to up the age limit of young drivers tbh.17 is to immature to be put incharge of a killing machine tbh.

I agree mate, there are so many kids out there doing stupid things and killing themselves. TBH slightly older people do it too, but only probably because they did it when they were 17.

the drive was 19, so 17 has got nothing to do with it. people can be just as immature and irresponsible at 25 you know...

17 was meaning the current age limit,19 is still to young imo.

When i was 17-19 i drove like a cunt, now im older and more mature i dont.

And yes you can be imature and irresponsible at any age,i agree with u there ben,but someone aged 21 and over usually has more sense than a teenager.

RIP - must be terrible for the family in the other car though too.

But upping the age is rediculous - plenty of 17 year olds can drive normally. I passed 2 months after 17, now 20 and not had an accident and use the car all the time for work. You can't take that away from people.

End of day. These 17 yr old comments are shit! I will pretty much assure you that you were saying the same thing when you were 17! Age is a factor, but its maturity thats the overall factor! I passed just a few weeks after my 17th birthday and i never had a problem for the rest of the year!

And the fact he is 19, thats just even more of an irrelivant comment!

Accidents will happen! Some people are just accidents waiting to happen, there isnt much you can do about them!
