i think I should explain the rules maybe

top 15 FI and top 5 NA qualify from both groups (see combined qualifying)..... that makes up the 20 car final.

Fee just missed out on the cut.

Fastest lap was a 59.2s.... or similar

na.... it isnt that complicated once you think about it.

2 club class groups, each with 20-30 cars (mixed NA and Forced)

Top 15 forced, and top 5 NA from both groups go through.

The fastest lap of the day was 59.2s???What kind of car was that and what power was it running??Or was that "Fee'S" fastest lap??
Still not all that quick really.
My mate took my old Pulsar around in 1min3sec.It was his 1st time ever on track and that was with 17s on the car running 313bhp.He said with 15s and a bit more time he could get it well under 1min.

You sum it all up there.... 'My mate says' 'could' Why didnt he then!

A 63 sec lap isnt that hard! taking 4 secs off it is a fair chunk of time! And how did he time it?

59.2 was fee's fastest timed lap. Fastest lap of the day was 52.1 or something.

Fee was driving a 400bhp R32 GTR. So prob a fair bit less power/weight than your GTiR

He ran out of session time thats why he didnt do it.Hes got his own Pulsar now tho so time will tell.
He was timed using a stop watch from when he appeared coming from the back straight, then when he appeared again after a lap.Not 100% accurate, but at the same time not gonna be seconds out.

And getting 4secs off isnt really that hard on a car that wasnt track prepped i.e smaller wheels etc.Im sure if it was then it wouldve been alot quicker, and getting time off of that wouldve been alot harder.

But i know what u mean about power/weight etc.Im sure if the GTR was running in the 500s itd be a different story.

Nope but that an other things do.I.E practice.
And anything smaller than 17s on a pulsar is bound to be a bonus.
