i got the card when i was doing mechanics at college, guy come in handing them out and just had to give our names etc..

just need the card number so if you know anyone who has one just tell the person behind the counter the number...

well worth having one though with how much you can get off some things

Ive got one, i just went into Halfords with my college card (doing Motor Vehicle) and a folder with work in and said i need to get some tools cheap so they gave me a card

i work in halfords, just go in and ask for a trade card they take down some details and thats it really just start using it then and there.

trade discount is on car parts and tools thats is it really, some of the prices can be good but otheres you can get them cheaper elsewere.

tools are good as if you break it you just take it back and get a new one.

20% off all professional tools IIRC (well it was when i worked there)
you can get a trade card easy, just ask for one.
You havent got to be in the trade, you can say you do alot of mechanics work on the side (for mates etc..) and you buy lots of parts and tools
