my daughter has just got chicken pox
has anyone got them as an adult?
cant wait till my son and other daughter come out in the rash

yes- I got it two years ago and I was in bed for days

I gotta be honest it's the worst illness i've had so far, saying that i had the spots in my mouth, on the bottom of my feet (was agony to walk) , all over my hands (couldn't touch anything), eyelids ( I couldn't open my eyes) ond other unmentionable places .

The illness part wasn't too bad compared to the itching- that just drove me insane

yup i had them around this time last year. was horrible!! worst thing ive ever had, just felt tired, itchy, lost my apetite and they look horrible.. i still have a few marks from them aswell

iirc Mav had them around the same time

They can be dangerous as an adult can't they? shingles or something?

You have to have caught chicken pox first.. it stays in your spine and shingles is if it comes back.. can make you sterile iirc

they are a lot worse as an adult, and yes you can get very ill from them,
