I wouldnt be proud of having one unless i have.
Think it would be special to know you HAVE been there and done it and bought the sticker on the way home.

idea is to say you've been...
Some people (like myself have one) because they have been!
Some people (chav and twats) put them on there to try to look cool

unfortunately loads of people put them on there now! In the same way 'Astra VXR cars sell like hot cakes on the name 'nurburgring edition'' - chav's or whomever want to stick one on there to look cool
It's just getting cheapened imo... and if anyone goes 'whats the big deal' - go there and drive round and see... I remember Tom off here thinking the track was a OVAL! just because of the name 'ring' and i've had other people think it's the GP track they see on F1
I can't wait to go back this year... it's like a rollercoaster once your on it, you aren't coming off until you get to the end, and for those 9 minutes or so it's such a rush!

oh and i dare anyone to actually time themselves bridge to gantry 10 mins (clarkson just struggled a 9:59!) is actually quite quick! I remember one of my first laps thinking i was going quick and only doing a 10:36
Soon sorted that out tho! Ended up with a low 9 min (which felt quick) and now want to go back doing sub 9s
