I always drink milk but it sounds as if your's is a bit more than a mild sore stomach!
If it's been going on that long it'll take something prescription to shift it more than likely!

Magnesium Trisilicate is what you need.
Me and dad drink it quite a lot. Can get it from most good chemists, over the counter. Try it. Much better than Gaviscon and that kind of stuff.
