some guy who lives near me has asked me for a race (private road abviously)
he has a standard 1.4 but says its a high torgue version or something
i have a 1.4 sri 8valve PX induction lowered 40-50mm and powerflow twin exit exhaust
both cors b's btw
mines a 93 and his is a P reg im sure
who should win?

they did do a 1.4 hitorq. it isnt the same as the sri.
sri is mpi and the 1.4hitorq is mpi

i had a hi-torq version 1.4 mine was a s reg LS, single point injection, sri should be quicker tbh as its MPI.
but go out and rappppppppppe him lol

Well far as im aware "Hi-Torque" came with the 1.2 & 1.4 8V AUTOMATICS as my dads is a "hi-torque" and an automatic.
But maybe wrong! hehe
