Watching cops earlier, is it true you can get £60 fine + 3 points?
If so, I'm removing mine!!

Rear 3 you can have as dark as you want, its the drivers door and passenger door ones you have to worry about.

I saw that too, with that silly women in the range rover who made her husband come back from the pub to peel the tints off so she didn't break her false nails

The front side windows are allowed no tints atall, If you have a light tint on then you will get a £30 fine and rectification notice to remove them.
If they are dark then you will get 3points and £60 fine and in some cases your car impounded.
My tints were illegally dark on the Mini but i never once got stopped, Although i did get stopped for driving without my seatbelt and the cop was a really nice cop so i asked him to test my windows.
He tested them and they were light enough to be just a £30 fine and mine were alot darker than yours.
But there are a limited number of TintMasters carried by Police in the UK.
There are 5 in glasgow for instance and these are shared between 20 traffic cars.

yes thats true i was told by the tint place too about not allowed any tints on the front but if you have all light smoke it looks more factory looking and will have less chance of being stopped imo.
