Itso ne of those threads we all know and love, what car for £12k max. Doesnt have to be that much, but thats the budget.

I would like to point out a few criteria:

It must look nice
It must not be slow but doesnt have to rip your face off.
No track weapons with crap interiors
No black leather
No diesels
No saabs
No imprezzas/evo's
Insurance isnt a problem
Fuel consumption can be bad, but not silly.
Im old so like my creature comforts...

So far ive got a choicde of BMW M Roadster and a TT.

Considered an S8 and also an Astra Convertible.

I must add im not after a hatchback really, no 106's astras or anything like that.

Skyline would be nice, but insurance is a bit silly for me.

What about an S3 Jamberino, I'm sure there is a reason why not but I've got a bit mixed up with your other 50 what car threads

Insurance isnt a problem, but for some reason I can get insured on a ferrari F355 cheaper thjan i can a dodgy 15yr old Skyline. So its nto a problem but i dont want to pay thru the nose for it.

I like them, wouldnt mind a red or grey one but 99.8% are overpriced or have black leather intriors.

The equivillant TT is 1/2/3 years newer for same price. Even if it has been looked after.

The grey is tempting tho!
