Going for a 2 week holiday with my girlie in Orlando..
staying on International Drive, so SeaWorld is walking distance and Universal is about 5mins drive 
Really looking forward to this as i havnt been to US since '94
Got $$$$ spending money which i hope will last us.
im gonna dry hump Mickey's head !

staying at Quality Inn International... looks nice enough. was gonna go for a Disney hotel but it cost far too much lol
Stu - bush gardens is crazy... they had the best rides back in 94.. dread to think what its like now. bet its amazing. will go there for sure shame its a bit of a drive tho

I stayed on international drive a few times.
I remember Sea world and Universal Studios being a good bit further away though. I may be wrong, its been 10yrs or so.
Try and find out if there is a car show in downtown Kissimmee. I went once and it was awesome. Heaps of cool cars.

Just recently got back from a two week break staying on I-Drive also.
Blue man group is alright to see but bloody expensive. Bit random too, but it's a good laugh. City walk {the places where Islands of adventure and Universal are} have had a lot on recently, some battle of the bands thing..Might still be on around now.
Try and look out for days out at daytona, they do days for certain cars, pretty nice down there and the beach is good.
If it's the quality inn behind the big Mcdonalds, then it's okay, nothing great but nothing too bad, pretty decent spot too.
Busch Gardens is now immense too, new ride there is amazing.

Not worth splashing cash on hotels out there as all you need it for is a base as you're out early in the morning and late back in the evenings

I quite fancy going to Florida, as per yourself ive not been sinse mid 90's, driving there scares the shit out of me though!
Ive been offered free accomodation 4 bedroom villa with pool in Cyprus by a workmate, he will be their at the time though he does alot of water sports & will be out most the time. Which is tempting if the cheap flights turn up - need to persuade Jade also!
