I have a metal splinter stuck in my thumb and it wont come out, ive tried with my fingers and with tweezers and it wont move any ideas how i can get it out?

Dunno but i'd get it out fairly quickly they just like fuck after you get over the initial shock and they become infected really quickly!

If it attracts and is big enough i don't see why not? I've had a few before and you end up with a fairly large infected area quite quickly which isn't the prettiest thing ever.

Old school trick is to put some hot wet bread over the area and put a bandage round it. I think as the bread drys out it sucks the splinter out.

i use a pin and try and get an end i can grab with tweezers, or i'll take some skin off with the pin to pull it out, dont leave it in there for long, can get infected badly
