Thats a lovely nail Steve, I'm quite impressed you got it in through the tread and out of the sidewall, takes talent!

2 reasons really.
1, it's too close to the edge
2, only a small one this.... it's pierced the chuffing sidewall

Yes it is holding air. Might just pull it out and hope for the best.
I got it because i put it on an apex on a fast corner like the stig did with an apple.

What a bell-end...
Do you not think about the safety of your car? not just your own safety but that of others, your dodgey tyres could cause a serious accident.

Put that tired weld stuff in it, let it set and the fill with air, and pull it out see what happens! I imagine you were going to get a new one anyways so its worth a punt!

Well, i need 2 tyres for my Astra, TAX on the thing and another turbo then i'm selling it. Now i need possibly 2 new tyres to replace the ones on the back of my Corsa to then replace them with 888's when i start doing track days.
Owning cars is fun
Edit: Oh and new discs and pads as it's now metal on metal now for the Corsa
