Mobby, you're thinking of the VAT registration which is nothing to do with being taxed; any income is taxable.

if you have two incomes the second income is always taxed at Basic Rate
its only the first job that the 5225 tax free refers to

I buy cars without mot's
desireable cars, and I work on them in my own time, get all parts at trade price then sell the cars on
I make at least £200 on a car
Made £600 on a 1.4 sport not so long ago

fair enough
I want to start going to the car auctions in Leominster. Buy a little old corsa 1.2, bring it back here to Aber, clean it up and flog it. Then maybe do it again with the money i make. Small old hatchbacks sell so easily round here, even more so with my car selling skills
EDIT: I got my hands on a written off mk2 ibiza. I did abit of DIY work on it and got it through an MOT and sold it. £250 profit
That got me hooked

tbh to start off it would be getting the right program, i used frontpage for mine as its simple to use but alot of ppl may say using a html based program might be better, might be worth having a look into it tho

You need an idea to drive you. It won't really work if it's the other way round imo.

Buying and selling but you need decent capital input.
I have an idea for a product, which am working on in my spare time at the office which if i can create a prototype i will sell off the idea. Then maybe try and move to buying and selling.
