Im talking about stuff you can buy that conforms to the correct standards, not home brew veggie oil!

Theres a place or two round here that does, sooo...

This is for my 2002 Ibiza Sport TDi 130PD

I know this MAY open a can of worms but im going for it anyway.

Been looking into this and seeing if it can be done.

Couple of sources I have seen say I can:

-My handbook for my 02 reg TDI 130PD says I can
-My handbook for my (now written off) 03 reg 130PD (as far as i'm aware the same engine?!?) says I can
-Numerous websites outlining cars from 199x to 2004 can, including:

http://www.biodieselfillingstations.co.uk/approvals.htm

So are there any success stories?
Any not?

weve had seat's in that are run on it all the time, some done 100k and theyre fine and if not in better condition engine wise than some on regular stuff. mate has a bora 130 pd usues it fine. my astra does and we get a new shape vectra in work for servicing that uses it.

the ready mixed stuff you should have no problems with apart from on a really really cold morning as it tends to thicken up. but this time of year you should be fine

Thats the thing matt, but tbh most of them are cocks that arent at all helpful. I think they don't know the difference of veggie oil and proper EN standard biodiesel.

The general notion is that VW have said yes then no to the use of biodiesel in the PD engine. But im not sure weather they mean the old PD's (ie. what Matt and myself have) are ok and the new ones (the 16v PD units)arent?

Ummmm...
