Iv just got a new job starting to sort myself out financially, spent all i had on a new escort cabriolet in blue nice wheels etc smart looking car, lastnight it was stolen from the car park right outside my house and found at 5am burnt out by the police! Dont know what to do because dont want to loose no claims by claiming, plus i wont get much for it off insurance. The police have said its completely fu*ked
Anyone had a similar thing and what did you do?

If you don't wish to claim then phone up your insurance and simply cancel it. Send back the policy etc. You don't have to make a claim if you don't want to.

Depending on what age you are and how many no claims bonus you have, and how much the car is worth it could be cheaper not to claim.
Although I heard of a guy on another forum that did claim and his insurance didnt go up as much as he had thought.
Sorry to hear this mate.

im 18 with 1 years no claims which isnt much to loose but it makes a lot of difference. The cars only worth about £800 but doubt theyl pay out that much.

Will get a pic up later on. Iv now got to pay for the fee from the compund aswel so thats cost me another £105 which i dont have.
Few things have come up, my mate got followed by a white van lastnight all the way home at which point the van slowed to almost a stop then turned round and came back again creeping by. Then my mate got out with a crow bar and the van drove off. So seems like weve upset someone but i have no idea how. At 1st i thought it might be wrk related as im a security guard obviously upset a few skag heads by kicking them out but why my mates been dragged in aswel
And also my girlfriend says she had a white van outside her house lastnight with a bloke looking at her and it drove off as she went in. Looks like this could get personnal think im going out prepared from now on

'get tooled up bro'
seriously...
dont be stupid.... you should be aware how stupid law's can be regarding rights to 'the right' and 'innocent' talk to the police and make a statement, give plates on these white vans... that way if anything happens you have something to stand on.
Attacking them with crowbars will just get you a smack on the wrists and a fine....

See your point but someones knicked and torched my car which i put all my money into, im not guna sit back and let the police deal with it, theyve already said theyre going to do no more. Would be worth the fine to put them through the s*it theyve put me through. But i do see what youre saying lol
