I'm tempted too to go for 2-3 weeks and see family and a friend on the gold coast. Just the price of a decent seat scares me somewhat

A few of my friends are out there at the moment, I looked into going for a couple of weeks in the summer, jesus christ the flights aren't cheap
I'd love to go, but have the feeling I wouldn't want to come back

she went cattle class so best part of a grand.
my mum went upper class and business class back, cost £4500, then she upgraded to upper class (and my sister's cattle class ticket) at the checkin desk at sydney and it cost an extra £1000
