Maybe he has used the pupular method of taking the base price for the car then adding up every single receipt he has for it, probably including fuel, as thats what it's cost him.

You could buy a 1.8 sri corsa c for that

Or

A Cammed saxo vts, or a decent 106gti.

You could probably get a lupo gti for that money too

WAY to expensive, Only thing that could warrant the price would be imac bodywork, diff, proper suspension, maybe even throttle bodies

It is over-priced, but I'd prefer to pay £2.5k for a late reg corsa than £1.5k for a doggy and rusty early one
