Gaz very kindly invited me over to fill his palm with tenners in exchange for this beast -

No tax or ticket so it needed carrying.

It runs really rather well indeed and everything is very tight and orderly but even so there's a bit of bodywork damage and my GSi needs a brake master cylinder, perhaps the gear linkage so it can donate them. Plus of course it has a sunroof so it'll do if I choose to swap the roofs and gain that. No rust at all up there, very tidy.
Ste also wanted a few bits for his kit car, and even if I don't need bits I live having spare stuff. Cheap way of acquiring bits.
So on with the job!

Gaz had already commandeered the radio

Dash out showing loom. Took a load like this for reference and so I know what the hell does what if I'm every feeling inclined to strip a loom down for weight and refit it to mine. Green and similar sized black are electric seats wiring, bizarre as it was never an option on this model. Not sure where they terminate yet.

Getting there.

Easier access

Doors are tidy and have electric bits to donate.

More loom pics.

Tomorrows job!

Yeah runs absolutely fine, not decided what I'm doing about selling stuff and prices yet but if it's urgent drop me an offer. It's as complete as it would be if you donored it yourself as I've got all the management, loom, sensors etc.

If you need it taking apart I'll gladly assist but I'm not in need of any exterior parts!
