On my way to work this morning, driving past earlswood golf courses (doubt anyone on here knows it)
Some complete tit crossed the road with his golf clubs right in front of me whilst I was doing 40 mph, didnt even look in my direction to see if anything was coming.
I slammed on the brakes, swerved to avoid him, narrowly missed him and hit a kerb and took a big chunk out of one of my wheels.
I pulled over, opened my window and said "yeah mate thats great, just cross the road without looking, nevermind I nearly smashed my car up trying to avoid you!"
Then to top his idiotic activies (let alone being a golfer :rolleyes , he starts running at me with a golf club. My first instinct was he probably wont hit me but he might have a good go at the car, and hes already responsible for f*cking my wheel, so I drove off, went to work and called the police.
They probably wont/cant do f*ck all, but on the chance they might be able to do something I thought I might aswell try.

what are you expecting the police are going to do?? you dont have a name, just a description of a man with golf clubs, near a golf club. and it'll always be the driver at fault.
he's still a prick and all, but nothing anyone could of done apart from you sorting it there and then.

Well I thought I would atleast report it, say he gets caught doing something later on (unlikely I know) but maybe they could contact me and get him to pay out for my wheel! far fetched!
I would have sorted it there and then but I didnt fancy being late for work because I had been hit with a golf club or had one of my windows smashed!

So
If he does see him again he's either going to deny all knowlegde and he's not going to get any money out of him
or
he can beat him till he's black and blue and still not going to get any money out of him.
Either way i agree with damian. Wtf could the police possibly do. You left the scene of the incident with no information, not pictures as evidence
