If you lower it and claim not to know it was lowered then you will generally not have issues.
The only way they would find out if the car was lowered is if it was in an accident and it was investigated by one of the guys.
They generally only get investigated when you kill some one or its really serious, Even then you'd have to be unlucky for them to notice/decline.
Trust me

Each to their own re: Cav GSi wheels on a Corsa
I put them on my car as I like them, couldn't give a shit about all the "80's look" "dustbin lids" comments.
If you want black Cav GSi wheels on your car mate then DO IT! I reckon they'll look

this boy speaks sense ^^^
I hate the wheels, Genuinely do hate them, Think they look shit and plain etc..
But what he said, if you like them then thats what matters, Why do something to your car that you wont like but others will? And vice versa, If you like it , go for them, Can always change them later!

I like cav rims, hence why i have them! Probably do prefer the ceasros but im not spending money on stupidly over priced worthless wheels again
And I like the cav rims for the plainness. I wanted to keep it sutble as possible whilst making it my own!

Exactly what I like about mine, from a distance they look like steelies with hubcaps missing and keep the look subtle don't want big shiny wheels on my car.
