Am I able to submit a claim now or do I need to wait until after 6th April.

Im due tax back from July/August 07, im not currently paying tax as im paid a non taxable grant by my employers. I thought if I submitted now they might deal with it before the April rush?

How do we go about sorting out a rebate? Is it through the employer that is taking tax? Or just direct with the Inland Revenue?

You can send your P60 (i think) off to the Inland revenue with a covering letter stating that you want it investigated

If you've been in your current job for the past couple of years then you're likely to get nothing. If you went from a higher paid job to a lower paid job then potentially you might get something.

I was working full time getting taxed, then stopped working shortly after last tax year last year, and haven't worked since...

Since the money I made after tax year was only £5000 ish ... and I was still paying full tax, I expect to get all the tax back.

yeh if you earn under 5000 from April to April - then you get any tax you paid back.
