Initial D was aimed at the older generation, Speed Racer is obviously aimed at kids. It has a slight cheese factor which makes it cool

Sorry, If I was a kid, I'd feel this film was taking the piss out of something I was truely passionate about.

When I was a child, I watched films like days of thunder... Now that film really did make you want to race cars, but it was done in a realistic way, not billy bullshit spinning cars.

i fucking loved jurrasic park, godzilla, transformers etc
just because there not realistic dosent make me a retard
edit: i was never truley passionte about cars or corsa's back when i was a kid so no, it dident annoy me
i did love dinosarws, but godzilla etc didnt make me angery

Loved the Cartoon when I was a kid so I'm interested to see how true to it they've stayed, although judging by that clip I'm not too optimistic

Agree with this, when I was a kid I didnt count the gear changes on car films or consider how fast a car can go in reverse. Bit sad tbh.
