Is there a specific choice of cars an insurance company gets to choose from or do they just pick something new, shit with a small engine?

Rang up my insurance company before and they said i'd get one after the assessor comes out to my car. The lady on the phone knew i was 17?

My mate were 17 when his corsa was wrote off. The courtesy car come, 55 plate fiesta The guy lowerd it down from the flat bed and park it on the drive. Gave my mate the keys to have a look round it! The bloke then asked

" could i see you drivers license"

"Certainly" my friend replys.

The bloke starts writing my friends details into his documents, writes his name down, writes his DOB down, starts writing his adress down and he goes

" Wait a minute, your 17"

" Yer...." My friend replys

" Well you have to be 18 mate to drive that car"

So off it went, back onto the flat bad and off it went

Was just wondering because my mate wrote off a little gay Kia (his fault) and got a 1litre Agila i think it was. Another lad a know in a 1.4 Sport got t boned by a taxi and got a 1.4 Polo..

If you run into someone then its your fault.

If you take a courtesy car for a claim on your own insurance then it bumps up the repair bill. With most companies this will bump up your next premium, even more so.

If you do take a car & they give you one it will just be a small hatchback, Class A car, whatever theve got in - could be anything.

My cousin had a daihatsu charade 1.2 16v courtesy car,when he was 17.

We took it up the mountain (rheola stages in wrc) and screwed the holy fuck out of it it,
the underneath was ruined by all the gravel and mud. fuck we had some fun the whole week he had it even the engine bay was caked in mud and the interior was covered after trying to push it out of the mud.

He just said his mate lives on a farm

I had a 106 quicksilver once, learned how to perfect handbrke turns & J-turns in that baby
