At the moment, daily usually i have a cheese sandwhich, pack of crisps, and a chocolate bar, and also have 2 cans of coke throughout the day, when i get home ill have a usual dinner lasagne, pasta bake, roast dinner, chips and chicken etc now and again... then when im out at night sometimes a double cheeseburger..

Although everyone says im thin i can feel myself putting the pounds and wander what i cna do to help ? Going to start going the gym but wandering if there is anything thats particularly bad ?

Cheers Rob.

Varying your diet might help..

Your body's probablly getting used to the same things.

Cut down on the coke to..., and the late night snacks

Yeh your not supposed to eat after 9pm as your least active after that time so the weight just piles on quickly if u eat alot.Change the coke for water, cut the crisps or chocolate out..you can eat fatty stuff just not loads, the body still needs fat, add different meals to your diet..jacket potato, fish, salads etc.If you are active enough during the day you will soon loose that few extra pounds.

Protein is foods like chicken, turkey, fish (salmon, tuna, etc) egg whites, peanut butter. Do a search for others mate as these are the main ones I use. Proetin is better for your muscles (as its repairs them after excercise) plusmakes you feel full longer

I work in an office all day so know what you mean. Things i've changed recently are

1. try and have breakfast, things like oats are best but I tend to have penut butter on toast

2. change from white to brown bread

3. less pop more water

4. fruit as snacks rather than crisps + chocolate

5. less takeaways

6. less beer

7. more excercise, ive started doing some form of excercise every night of the week

(prob more changes but these are the main ones hope this helps)

If you change your diet from what your eating now it will be healthier, to loose weight you need exercise too not just a change of diet.

As above, eat healthier and excercise and you will loose weight. I've changed my diet and excercised more for the last 2 weeks and noticed alot of difference. (although dont have any scales so not sure what weight difference)

Its basically this...burn more calories than what you eat in a day and you will loose weight, but if you say your job isnt very active you could allways start the gym, do exercise at home, big walks on a weekend, bike riding, swimming etc.
