This is weird as fuck and we still cant get our heads round it..

The mrs decided to go up to The Fort (shopping centre in Glasgow) so she could spend the vouchers she got at Christmas in HMV.

Went in and she pretty much picked a few DVD's right away and was back at the car within half an hour.

Got back to the car and she was raging because someone left litter on her roof.......Although it wasnt litter.

She lifted the box to find it was a brand new LG PRADA mobile phone in its box all taped up. There was no bag with ot or anything, Just the box.

I get my car keyed and broken into when i leave it anywhere, My girlfriend comes back to a new mobile phone?

WTF

Will get pictures when she gets back in as i cant find the same one as it on the net.

I swear iv not taught her well, She went back into a few of the phone shops to see if anyone had just bought it but none of them claimed to have had anyone in wanting that model today?

She needn't give it to charity - if she has found it and can't trace the owner then it is as good as hers.

I'm guessing if it's a good phone it'll have a contract associated with it though? That would probably tie up the owner to the number on the SIM?

My guess is that it is stolen already and was left there to be collected later. Is there no CCTV?

Nope, no operator logo's on the box so its not on contract and there is no SIM with it either.

Thats what im thinking, Im guessing its stolen and someone left it there as a 'safe house'.

No CCTV in that part of the car park.

I think someones been getting in there car and put it on the roof of her car to get a hand free and forgot to lift it again, Which is pretty stupid if this is the case.
