which would you choose?
you see alot of people go for the GSI rather than the SRI.
Is there any reason for this?

Correct, most of the SRI-T's have cloth interior. no cruise control, no trip computer,
GSI spec is much better. half leather recaro interior, switchable TC. better suspension, also the GSI came with better Optional extra's Sat nav, xenon lights etc.

I like the look of the SRI, just the interior lets it down for me tbh.

Go for a Gsi as SRi's will drop in price like lead baloons soon.
This is like your 10 millionth GSi thread!

I was just wondering what made people go for the GSI rather than the SRI Fad, from what people say the GSI wins hands down BUT..... If you tuned both cars would the GSI still be better overall ?

The main difference is that the gsi had another 7bhp, and has half leather interior. There were only 500 sri-t's made, there were made as a car to test the market for the gsi. The SRI-T have a subtle kit made by prodrive, which is ok.

The SRi looks like its a got an aftermarket bodykit dont like it. No competition between the two, GSi all day long.

The only difference in the engines is the ECU.
you could just get the coupe for 4K less than a GSI.
My spec is:
Full leather (heated)
Air con
Full electrics
ABS
Traction control
Electronic stability programme
Cruise control
Trip computer.
Oh and GSI's and Coupe turbos have brake ducts the SRI-T doesnt

sri-t is 190bhp but go down to your local vauxhall dealer and have it plugged in to tech2, put the gsi map on it, then theres no power difference, with the only real difference left is that one has half leather recaros and the other has cloth.
