Whats its temper like? Mother informs me their pack animals & tend to be restless in the house pet lifestyle, can often try to escape!?

Id like to get a dog next year, theres a couple with a Siberian Husky down the street ive always thought it was a nice dog. The only thing troubling me is when im away to work for 2 weeks at a time Jade will forget to walk or feed it

Temper is good bit grumpy at first but its how you treat them be stern but fair so he knows your boss i.e alpha male then he will be your best mate all the time lol

Prob not ideal for me then :S

What sort of dog would suit my needs, im thinking about getting a mut next year once ive got a new house with garden sorted 1st?

Lots of spare time to walk/play/train however work overseas 2 weeks out or 5.

Mrs able to feed/cuddle dog while im away though possibly be left alone during the day, little exercise.

I prefer medium/large size dogs so no jack russells or yorkies

Colin seems to think I could cope walking it 3 times a day when he's away at the rigs

I have this vision of me being dragged bodily along the street 3 times a day taking it walkies
