Hello
Recently made a few changes to the GSi, got it how i wanted it now, got rid of the Pro race 1.2's, loved the colour but didnt think the small spokes were suited to such a chunky car. SO got some snowflakes
Also got rid of the std rear lights as they didnt bring out the red well enough. I also added a new silver rear griffin and a vectra gsi badge to make it look a bit more modern. Thanks to Byron for the inspiration
Anyway heres the before pix:

And here are the new shots, what do you think? 100% improvement IMO.

And the cheesey one........Happy Jambo with his car

Comments welcome

Loads better, a lot refresher I think. Would still maybe think of going just a few shades darker on the wheels, a silvery dark grey, which would contrast the paint work a bit more, but both colours look loads better than them black pro races.

The wheels look a bit bland for such an interesting car IMO, have you thought about getting the faces diamond cut and relacquered? Would just bring out the design a bit more, make it look fresher?

done a quick shop,

diamond cut could be a good idea, was at a lads house yesterday with a red escort rs with them shitty bland rs alloys but they were doamond cut and looked well against the red.

Ed, ive wanted a honeycombe grille but i cant find one!
Mike the car was drity, cleaned 2days before the shoot, i tried to back to black the middle lower grille but got bored Cheeky git
I dont want to change the colour of the wheels as i think that /\ looks too boy racer for me, i like the original look
Was interested in diamond cutting, but all the photos ive seen of snowflakes look shite IMO.
Adam, you mean the grey bit?? Thought about getting it colour coded red, thought it might be a bit better, it looks alot nicer in the flesh

That's the sort of idea I'm on about with the cutting Jammers, not polished up to mirror finish or anything daft. Just makes it look OEM+

thats not diamond cut
They are just painted a special silver colour IIRC (one from vxr detail thread?)
If so id be after something similar, as they need a refrb
