always wondered, if they have what is it ? the majority of modified cars i see in this country look like they had about 5 minutes thought.

i remember seeing a bright orange french 205 with an Mi16 engine in it with a squencial box and hydraulic handbrake in max power years ago.

i suspect they look at "our" styling in the same way we look at Chavs - car to low, with 16 inch exhausts (twin) 18inch wheels which rub etc

well maybe... that certainly the image which comes to mind when most here "modified" these days, and often the thougth that runs through ppls minds when they here i'm a "modder"

They tend to refer to modified cars as "lower class" here. Someone used the phrase "subhuman" once, but I think that was a translation error.

the problem with the British style is that we dont have any real UK style. We dont have the conviction like our European counter parts.
