Renew yes, but whast if you can get a better deal elsewhere?
I thought some companies get funny with the bonus accelerator schemes.

why are you interested in a 10 month policy?
most insurance companies, you only tend to pay 10 installments anyway, or is it simply so you can get NCB quicker??

I built up 2 years with elephant on them 10 month policies and have now changed insurer and they didnt question me on them. So yeh they do stand as a full years NCB.

Im on one at the moment, going to stay with the current company come renewal but take out a 12 month policy.
They say that it counts as a full years NCB so I can't see the problem.

Worthwhile if your building up NCB, now im at 5yrs theres no point as theres no saving to be had.

If you have a renewal notice saying you have a certain amount of no claims you have that many, don't know about it being transferable, that would defeat the purpose would it not.

well if you can deffo use them with other companys i dont see why there would be a reason not to do it! things are quicker then!! the only reason i still have my corsa and not the gti is i need to wait till i get my 1yncb!

dont do it. i did and ALOT of places would not count it as their computers would not execpt 4 years no claims when i had only been old enought to drive for 3 years 10 months.
