not really, well not to me. i have been following uk garage for year's. Doubt there is a track i aint herd tbh
i first started listening to this "bassline" style when people like DJ D and G started creating the new scene, this was about 2 year's ago, then paleface and northern line records jumped on this new style
now people like DJ Q, T2, TS7, H20 are getting rekonised by radio 1 and kiss since heartbroken smashed the uk chart's

been into UKG/niche/bassline/whateveryouwanna callitnowadays for years.
The past couple of years have been good for new music tbh with northernline records & what not doing their thing and providing new mix's it seems to be coming back with some good chart songs
